Decathlon is headquartered in northern France. The current chairman of the firm, Michel Leclercq, created the company in France in 1976. Currently, Decathlon Group operates a full-scale chain of sports stores of all sizes in addition to designing and producing sporting items. Decathlon started auditing its suppliers after considering the reputation and social responsibility of global brands. The most rigorous assessment agency, CSCC, initially conducts the Decathlon audit, which progressively shifts to another third-party agency to execute the company’s global social responsibility program. After concentrating on factory audit consulting for ten years, Saicert offers a comprehensive Decathlon audit, Decathlon factory audit, and Decathlon audit certificate solution that includes follow-up, on-site counseling, audit accompanying, etc., all to achieve a positive result.

With the changes in the international market, the original orders can no longer meet the production needs, so we must seek a wider space in the European and American markets. However, in the hearts of European and American consumers, in addition to representing excellent quality and service, brands must also have high social responsibilities. Therefore, they will require factories that produce their products to strictly abide by this series of behaviors. For factories that have serious violations during the Decathlon inspection process, a stop of order will be processed.
The Decathlon factory audit is the audits performed by Decathlon accredited auditimg bodies to approve the production or preparation of a partnership to ensure that their partners meet their Code of Conduct.
Furthermore, since most customers have indirect contacts, they will blacklist the problematic factories and put them on the Internet. In other words, a serious violation may affect all European and American orders. Therefore, only through the inspection, we can receive more orders. The code of conduct required by the guests is not precisely in line with our actual work. Therefore, not only do we need to work hard together to improve the awareness of the factory, but also need more support and confidence from the person in charge of the factory and the factory personnel.
The contents of the Decathlon audit include company document data, management model, employee human rights, product quality, anti-terrorism security measures, as well as workplaces, production facilities, fire equipment, living facilities, environmental sanitation, plant construction, food and entertainment.
The Decathlon factory audit process is as follows:
Child labor verification
1. Pick up small-looking employees during the factory inspection process.
2. Spot check in the personnel file 3. Select 25 workers for interviews.
4. In the course of the interview, there are inconsistent information according to the cross-checking of the personnel files.
5. When a child is found (current or historical), the worker's job number, name, date of birth, and date of entry must be registered.
The purpose of the interview interview with workers:
1. Understand the actual operation of the factory from the worker level
2. Obtain information that is not available in other processes and the consistency of the documents in question.
3. A more in-depth understanding of the interview area (EIQ) for abnormal areas.
Number of interviewed workers = 25% of the total number of factories, but no more than 25 workers. The expansion of the number of interviewed workers depends on the requiring of more in-depth understanding, when violations, such as family work, false accounts, workers' identification documents and workers' actual answers inconsistencies, and so on are found.
Selection process:
1. 50% of workers are selected during the factory inspection process.
2. Young workers.
3. Pick from all departments
4. Workers who work overtime.
5. Workers with low wages.
6. Young workers.
7. Old workers are not open
8. If conditions permit, the gender ratio should be equal and the race equal.
9. Dangerous post workers.
10. 50% of workers are selected from payroll, work card and document review.
Interviews must be conducted in a one-on-one manner in the absence of managers. Workers must be informed that all interviews are confidential and that the names of the workers who reflect the problems cannot appear on the report. And group interviews are not allowed.
Interview skills:
Friendlyness makes workers relax and open their minds; EIQ serves as a guide, but it is not limited to face-to-face interviews.
Last meeting:
1. Inform management that the review has been completed.
2. Return the borrowed documents for review
3. Thanks for their support and cooperation in reviewing.
Explain the problems found, answer factory questions, and write improvement plan confirmation (CAPAR) education and provide best operational guidelines for improvement to help the factory meet the requirements of the Code.

Physical and mental health.
7. The above problems with the Decathlon audit are all important.
are many regulations in the Wal-Mart SCS audit. Today we only talk about the two regulations for chemical leaks and machine protection devices.

2. Eyewashers should be installed in areas where chemicals are used (eg silk screen shops, chemical warehouses).
3. Develop procedures for dealing with chemical spills and identify how to deal with accidents.
4. The two faucets of the eye wash should be discharged normally. The water source of the eye wash should be in accordance with the sanitary conditions.
5. Eyewasher installation location should be within 30m of the chemical warehouse or chemical use point or 15s when needed.
6. When the worker's face, eyes, arms or neck are exposed to chemicals, they should be rinsed with an eye wash.

The Decathlon Group in France is both a designer and manufacturer of sporting goods and a full-scale sports chain store of all sizes. The Group has the largest product development and design center in France, and has opened 331 large sports goods supermarket chains worldwide (as of the end of 2004). The industry ranks first in Europe and second in the world.
In the past two years, the image and social responsibility of international brands have been taken into account. Decathlon also began to audit its suppliers, initially by the most rigorous assessment agency CSCC, and gradually moved to other third-party auditing bodies to implement its global social responsibility system.
The Decathlon audit results include red, yellow and green lights. Its level has the same and different points as Wal-Mart. The same thing is to use color to classify. If red is the most unacceptable, green is acceptable. The difference lies in that it will be finished with a red light. Every standard has red, yellow and green light in Decathlon audit standard. Even with a red light, it does not necessarily have very serious consequences. Because Decathlon has an overall score of 100 points, if the total score exceeds 90 points, the evaluation fee will be borne by Decathlon, otherwise the factory will bear the responsibility. In general, it is not bad that the factory can get 85 points.
